Wind Park Attendant: Mr. Wiesnegger

The person who will take responsibility for the smooth operation of the Tauernwindpark on a daily basis is a lover of nature with a strong interest in its preservation. He also shows expertise and has technical skills.

Our wind park attendant will live somewhere in the nearby valley by Oberzeiring so that he can be reached around the clock. In summer he can reach the wind park by means of the "Höhenstraße" and in winter by means of a snow caterpillar, skidoo or skis.

The manufacturer of the turbines, the company Vestas, stays in contact with Mr. Wiesnegger per telephone or by computer.

The wind park attendant monitors the turbines and documents their operation and servicing as far as it is not already electronically done. He learned to do small repairs by attending special classes for this purpose.
