The cables had to be inspected after they had been laid. Many defects were discovered which probably were the result of poor workmanship during their installation. The problems were corrected in a short period of time.

Construction at the transformer station at Teufenbach has been moving fast the last few weeks.

A milestone was reached on 30 August 2002: The grid was turned on between the switching station at the wind park to the transformer station in Teufenbach. Now nothing is in the way of connection of the Tauernwindpark to the grid as soon as the turbines are finished.
