DI Trauttmansdorff visits the construction site
and is satisfied with the progress being made but also sees the
difficulties of working at the site. Excavation and backfill work
is under way.
The foundation near WT 7 has been completed and
the pit filled in. Special attention is made to place the blocks
of humus back into their original position. After the pits are filled,
only the foot of the tower is visible.
The walls enclosing the open pits must stand up
to strong winds.
It is only natural that the foundations have
an earthing system. Where the earthing wire enters the ground, it
is wrapped in Denso tape to keep it from chemically decomposing.
One foundation needs 245m² of concrete
which is equivalent to 41 trips with a concrete mixing truck.
