Excavation work in difficult ground with the ground quality 6 (rock).

The flat and compacted floor of the foundation pit is covered with a 10 cm bedding concrete.

Afterwards the upper and lower reinforcement is brought into place. The earthing system and cable protection pipes, for cables which will be put in at a later date, leads between both reinforcements up to the middle of the foundation section.

The foundation section weighs 9.4 tons. Alignment of the foundation sections has to be done with a preciseness of 2 mm.

After the concrete has been poured, the fresh concrete surface is protection by a plastic tarpaulin to prevent the concrete from drying up. Due to the strong winds, the plastic tarpaulin is weighted with sand.
