The attractions should strengthen the public´s
awareness of the need for new means of dealing with our energy sources
in order to preserve the environment for future generations.
The Tauernwindpark will open in the spring of 2003.
Most of the special attraction are still in development, but since
the middle of June the Tauernwind company offers guided tours through
the windpark. Our guides give you all kinds of informations about
clean energy in general and about the very special history and present
of the Tauernwindpark. The tour takes about an hour.

Price: 50€ per group, maximum size of a group: 25 persons.

The Windpark can be reached in summer by the newly adapted and
improved access road "Höhenstraße". Please
note that the Höhenstraße is a paying road (5€/car, 25€/bus).
In
winter a ski tow from the skiing area Lachtal/Rossalpe will
bring visitors
up to within 500 m of the wind park.
In summer as well as in winter you can have adventures, climbing
and hiking in the Tauern. A good website offering all these attractions
