Planning

Search and acquisition of sites, wind measurements, wind park configuration, co-ordination of planning steps until all the required permits are acquired.

Negotiations with the regional utilities about the feed-in tariffs, negotiations with politicians, property owners, hunters etc.

Call for tenders, negotiations, commissioning.

Erection

Co-ordination of the building phases including transportation of the components.

Financing

Financial calculations, development of shareholder models, call for tenders and negotiations with banks and funding offices.

Operation

Next to the commercial management of the G.m.b.H. (managing, bookkeeping, selling of electricity etc.) is, in the case of the Tauernwindpark, the technical management of the wind park a real challenge due to the extreme conditions of the site at Oberzeiring. This involves monitoring, maintenance, detection of defects and their correction.

Public Relations

A great deal of public relation work was already necessary at an early stage in the development of the Tauernwindpark. PR continues to play an important role due to the accompanying visitors program and the attractions which are planned.
