Project Tasks: Ice measurements and analysis
of the ice and climate conditions
The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) produces
high-quality observational data and research information on the
atmosphere, and uses it to produce methods for enhancing public
safety and for the needs of the general public, economy and for
other purposes. The research of the FMI Energy is related mainly
to wind energy, measurements under icing condintions and icing within
national and international programmes.
