The German Wind Energy Institute calculated the wind speed gradient for the site. The given annual power production numbers are for one wind turbine without reductions for any power losses due to turbulence and other factors.

The German Wind Energy Institute calculated an average yearly power production per wind turbine to amount to 4,135 MWh. This is not taking into consideration the energy which is lost due to the fact that the turbines are "stealing" wind from each other according to configuration of the wind park. The experts also recommend that 10 to 15% for the calculation method and 6 to 8% for other uncertainties should be subtracted from this sum. Also losses due to icing on the rotor blades or defects in the technical availability of the turbines have not been taken into consideration.

DEWI determined that the degree to which the wind turbines in the given wind park configuration would block each other would amount to 97.2% resulting in a loss of 2.8% of energy production.
